Upfit Notes
- A rugged workhorse built with exceptional craftsmanship and premium materials. Get more body for your money with a long list of standard features. Resists rust and corrosion for year after year of dependable service. The iconic Reading tailgate is easy to open and shut with a pickup-style latch and slam-action closure. Tailgate is 14″ tall with a treadplate working surface, to provide sure-footed access to the loadspace. The working hardware is stainless steel — knee braces, locking rods, hinge rods and striker channels. Knee braces are removable and protect against rust and corrosion while allowing the tailgate to swing down completely. Reading’s double-panel doors are made from 18-gauge A60 galvannealed steel for both outer and inner panels. Doors are internally braced to resist deflection and provide long-lasting durability. A durable, high-gloss polyester powder coat that is electrically bonded to surfaces and melted to form a durable, corrosion-resistant finish. Produces a brighter finish that resists corrosion, chemicals, humidity, scratches, chips and UV damage. Standard on all service body models. An all-aluminum dish around the fuel cap protects the body from accidental nicks and scratches during refueling and is more durable than typical plastic brackets.
